ანოტაცია: The story of „The Scarlet Letter“ is about the background of Puritan Boston society during the years 1642 to 1649. The main character is Hester Prynne, who brings birth to a child and bears her up without revealing her father identity. Beacouse of this, she has to wear a piece of red cloth in the shape of an A which identifies her as a sinner. She tries to create new life to truly repent her sins and get a life of dignity.
